Tapestry Accepting Nominations for 2014 Dedication Award

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Every year, Tapestry: A Day For You is dedicated to a woman who is a positive role model for women of all ages around the community. This event is a day of inspiration, renewal, and education for women in all stages of life.

Now through Nov. 15, 2013, the Tapestry dedication committee will be accepting nominations for the 2014 Honoree. The nominee should embody the following:

  • Balanced life
  • Empowers others
  • Passion for life with compassion for others
  • Positive attitude
  • Service to the community
  • Strength of character
  • Vision and implementation

Each complete nomination form will be reviewed by the Tapestry dedication committee. The selected nominee will be notified in early January and honored at Tapestry: A Day For You on Friday, April 25, 2014, during the breakfast program. To complete a nomination form click here.

Past recipients include Weezie Doermer, Patricia Miller, Barbara Bradley Baekgaard, Patricia Kunkel, Joan Auer, Harriet and Julie Inskeep, Colleen Benninghoff, Suzan Motz, Patty Martone, Betty Stein, Bette Harris, Dorian Maples, Donna Emley, and Pat Parker. All of these women have shown a positive impact in all aspects of their lives: family, community, and profession.
