IPFW Department of Music Third Annual Madrigal Dinner

(Fort Wayne, October 28, 2009) -- The Third Annual Madrigal Dinner will feature the Madrigal Singers, Brass Choir, Herald Trumpets, Early Music Consort, and the Court Jester among others, dressed in lavish Elizabethan costumes, as they provide holiday cheer and hearty merriment in the Walb Student Union Ballroom.

Guests will dine on a sumptuous Old English dinner of Cornish game hen and wild rice, wassail, and flaming figgy pudding, surrounded by glorious sights and sounds of the festive holiday season. The evening will be filled with the singing of early madrigals and traditional sixteenth century carols, Renaissance dancing, dramatic poetry reading, strolling musicians, pageantry, and fine instrumental music of the era.

  • Gentry Tickets @ $30 per person (Seats ten - tickets sold individually)
  • Nobility Tickets @ $35 per person (Seats eight - tickets sold individually)
  • Baron’s Table (seats 8) @ $320 (Must purchase entire table)
  • The Royal Table (seats 8) @ $400 (Must purchase entire table)
