Sustainable Construction and Renewable Energy Lab Plans Revealed

(Fort Wayne, May 21, 2009) -- Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will present the schematic design for the Sustainable Construction and Renewable Energy Lab at a news conference, Wednesday, June 3, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 168 of the Science Building.

Regina Leffers, director of IPFW’s Center for the Built Environment, will introduce the project, which will include the complete remodeling of an existing 25,000 square foot structure that was built in 1976. The lab will help IPFW students acquire the skills needed to meet the workplace demands of area employers. The news conference is open to the public.
