Open Houses Feature Accelerated MBA Program Information

(Fort Wayne, May 19, 2009) -- Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will host a series of Open Houses next month at various branches of the Allen County-Fort Wayne Public Library. The events are in response to the high number of people who have expressed interest in the Accelerated MBA program announced two weeks ago.

Lyman Lewis, assistant director of the MBA program in the Doermer School of Business and Management Sciences (DSBMS), Karen Van Gorder, and/or Angela Williams, both with IPFW’s Division of Continuing Studies, will be present at each open house to answer questions about the program.

The open houses will be:

  • June 1: 4:30 to 6 p.m., in the large conference room at the Georgetown Library—6600 E. State Blvd.
  • June 3: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Meeting Room C at the Downtown Library—200 E. Berry Street.
  • June 3: 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the large conference at the Dupont Library—536 E. Dupont Road.
  • June 8: 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the large conference room at the Shawnee Library—5600 Noll Ave.
  • June 11: 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the large conference room at the Aboite Library—5630 Coventry Lane

The inaugural class begins this August and is limited in size. Those interested in applying are urged to do so online at www.ipfw.edu/mba. The Accelerated MBA program offers a convenient class schedule with most classes on Friday evenings and Saturdays, accreditation from AACSB-International, no GMAT is required for admission, only 11 classes are required, regardless of undergraduate or major, and students complete the program in eleven months.

For more information about the open houses, contact Karen Van Gorder at 260-481-6016.
