Bridging the Way to College Success

(Fort Wayne, May 16, 2008) -- Jump start your college career with Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne's (IPFW) Summer Bridge Program. High school graduates of 2008 are invited to interview for the college transition program Saturday, May 31, at 8:30 a.m. in the IPFW Stomping Grounds (cafeteria in the basement of Walb Student Union). Both the interviews and the program are free. Call 260-481-6608 to reserve your seat.

Only exploring or denied students will be admitted to the Summer Bridge Program; call Admissions at 260-481-6812 for requirements.

Interview participants should dress in business casual attire and bring the following with their high school transcript: SAT and/or ACT scores; fee waivers ($30 IPFW application fee); 300-500 word essay "What Summer Bridge Will Do for Me"; proof of financial status (taxes, free/reduced lunch letter, Twenty-first Century Scholars, etc.); and insurance card.
