Dental Education Award Ceremony a Sparkling Success

(Fort Wayne, May 16, 2008) -- The annual Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Dental Hygiene Awards and Recognition Ceremony were held earlier this month. Sponsored by the Department of Dental Education in the College of Health and Human Services, more than 400 guests attended the event where each dental education student was recognized. The following awards were also given:

  • Gloria H. Huxoll Award - Stacy Hammond (New Haven, Ind.)
  • Oral Pathology Award - Tia Tribby (Royal Center, Ind)
  • Rebekah Fisk Award - Jessica Stephenson (Albany, Ind.)
  • Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award - Lacy DeWitt (Plymouth, Ind.)
  • Colgate S.T.A.R. Award - Kelley Lothamer (Fort Wayne, Ind.)
