Florence NightDonGale to Benefit Nursing Scholarship

(Fort Wayne, March 14, 2008) -- The Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Department of Nursing has introduced a special addition to the Mastodons on Parade mini mastodon herd. The newest collectible, Florence NightDonGale, is for sale now in Neff Hall, Room B50. These limited-edition mini-mastodons were designed to raise scholarship money for graduate nursing students.

The cost of the collectible is $40, including tax. Other sponsorships are available for $500, $1,000, and $2,500. Payment may be made by cash, check (made out to IPFW), or VISA, MasterCard, or Discover credit cards.

In 2005, 102 Mastodons on Parade were scattered all over Fort Wayne, celebrating Fort Wayne's first community art project, which was Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne's 40th anniversary present to the community. A number of months later, IPFW began offering a series of limited edition collectibles including Mastodonny Appleseed and Matissetodon.
