Immanent Ethics and Desire Topics of IPFW Philosophy Colloquium
(Fort Wayne, March 6, 2008) -- What is immanent ethics and what is the philosophical problem of desire? Dan Smith, Ph.D., will answer these questions and more at the next Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Philosophy Colloquium. The lecture "Deleuze and the Question of Desire: Toward an Immanent Theory of Ethics" will be Thursday, March 20, at noon in the Classroom Medical Building, Room 16. It is free and open to the public.
Smith is an associate professor of philosophy at Purdue University. He specializes in 19th and 20th Century continental philosophy. The Philosophy Colloquium Series is sponsored by the IPFW Department of Philosophy.
