IPFW Holds 4th Annual Diversity Showcase March 19

(Fort Wayne, March 6, 2008) -- Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) continuously strives to make both the campus and learning experiences for its students, faculty, staff, and visitors more diverse. To show the IPFW community and the community-at-large what initiatives have been undertaken in the past year, a Diversity Showcase will be held Wednesday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Walb Union Ballroom. The showcase is free and open to the public.

The goal of the showcase is to share with the IPFW and Fort Wayne communities the exemplary diversity initiatives on campus, identify best practices, and plan for future initiatives.

The showcase begins at 10 a.m. with a welcome and overview of IPFW's diversity goals and showcase highlights. The showcase itself, which will include more than 45 tables, begins at 10:15 a.m., with poster sessions, presentations, videos, and displays representing a variety of diversity initiatives across campus.
