IPFW Names New Administrators

(Fort Wayne, June 30, 2008) -- Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is pleased to announce Rose Costello has been promoted to the position of director of human resources, effective July 1, 2008. Costello is currently the employee relations and training administrator in IPFW's HR office. Prior to coming to IPFW Costello served in positions with the Boys and Girls Club of Adams County, International Business College, Manpower Temporary Services, and Jones Spacelink Cable TV.

Costello has a bachelor's degree in psychological sciences from IPFW and is working on a master's degree in education-professional studies at IPFW with an expected graduation date of May 2009.

IPFW is also pleased to announce Mariah D. Butler has accepted the position of equal opportunity and affirmative action officer and will begin her duties July 14, 2008. Butler is an attorney who was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2003 and to the Federal Bar of the Southern District of Ohio in 2005. She is also a member of the American, Ohio, and Dayton Bar Associations.

Prior to her new position at IPFW, Butler was a staff attorney for the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Dayton, Ohio. Before that, she was in private practice in Dayton and Kettering, Ohio.

Butler received a bachelor's degree from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law.
