“A Dream Celebration” To Honor Martin Luther King Jr.

(Fort Wayne, Jan. 8, 2008) -- To commemorate what would have been the 79th birthday of Martin Luther King Jr., Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will host "A Dream Celebration" featuring the Indiana University African-American Choral Ensemble. The concert will be Sunday, Jan. 20, at 5 p.m. in the Rhinehart Recital Hall in The John and Ruth Rhinehart Music Center. It is free and open to the public.

The concert will begin with a performance by the IPFW Voices of Inspiration, a student gospel choir. The Indiana University African-American Choral Ensemble, under the direction of Professor Keith McCutcheon, will immediately follow. The event is sponsored by the IPFW Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.
