University Religious Forum Discusses the Crisis in Darfur

(Fort Wayne, Jan. 4, 2008) -- The crisis in Darfur is the topic of this month's Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) University Religious Forum. Rachel Utesch, a member of the IPFW Campus Ministry, will discuss "The Continuing Crisis in Darfur," Thursday, Jan. 17, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in Walb Student Union, Room G08. The forum is free and open to the public. A simple lunch is served; donations are accepted. Reservations are not necessary.

Utesch and other members of the IPFW Campus Ministry will discuss the continuing genocide in Darfur, Sudan. They will give an update on the crisis and suggest what we can do to help alleviate the horror of this situation for Darfurians.

Sponsored by Campus Ministry, the forum is part of a monthly lecture series open to the campus and the community during which contemporary, provocative topics are explored and discussed from a spiritual perspective.
