IPFW Announces New Master of Science in Nursing
(Fort Wayne, Feb. 12, 2008) -- Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will offer a Master of Science with a major in nursing this fall. The new degree will include three new concentrations of nursing education, women's health nurse practitioner, and adult health nurse practitioner and will continue the existing concentration of nursing administration.
The new concentrations were designed to expand the knowledge base of registered professional nurses to an advanced practice level. Classes will begin fall 2008.
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education approved the new degree Friday. The degree is offered through the Department of Nursing in the College of Health and Human Services.
