IPFW to Feature Former Coaches at Homecoming Party
(Fort Wayne, November 12, 2007) -- It's Homecoming at Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). The big basketball game between IPFW and Valparaiso University will be played at the Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at 7 p.m. A pregame party featuring former IPFW coaches as celebrity game hosts will be at 4:30 p.m. in the Coliseum's Expo IV hall.
On hand to meet and greet students and alumni will be Chancellor Michael Wartell and former coaches Tony Vittorio, basketball; J. Webb Horton, tennis; Tony Cardenas, soccer; Mary Schreiber, women's basketball; Bruce Patterson, women's basketball; and Doc Skelton, women's softball and men's basketball. The party includes free food and soda, gifts, and games where mastodon bucks are given as prizes that can be used to bid on gift certificate items.
