IPFW Professor’s Papers Win Accolades
(Fort Wayne, November 9, 2007) -- Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) assistant professor of management in the Doermer School of Business and Management Sciences Karen Moustafa was recently recognized at the Mid-Continent East Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) annual meeting in Chicago. Moustafa was nominated for the Association's Innovation in Leadership of Business Educational Award 2007 for "The Business Ethics Laboratory," and won second prize. As part of her recognition, Moustafa gave an overview presentation of her program at the conference.
This was the third award Moustafa received in recent months. She was also a finalist in the Academy of Management Dark Side Case Competition in August, and she won the International Academy of Intercultural Research Dissertation Award for 2005, which was announced this summer. Moustafa's submission to the Academy of Management was "Misbehavior in the Workplace: When is it Bullying?"
