You’ve Just Won the Super Bowl, What Are You Going to Do Now? I’m Going to IPFW!
(Fort Wayne, March 22, 2007) -- Super Bowl XLI champion and Colts punter Hunter Smith will perform with his Christian band, Connersvine, at Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), April 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Walb Union Amphitheatre. The concert is free and open to the public.
Connersvine, an acoustic-driven rock duo made up of Smith and Chris Wilson, will play with a full band for the IPFW April concert. The concert will be moved to Walb Union Ballroom in the event of rain.
The Christian band recently signed with INO Records and released an album titled Connersvine The EP, which includes songs such as "Hunger Love" and "Live for You."
"Winning the Super Bowl has been one of the highlights of my life and career," said Hunter Smith in a news release. "I feel just as strong of a call to worship leading and ministering through music as I do in football."
The concert is sponsored by Campus Ministry, Campus Crusade for Christ, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and Global Christian Fellowship.
