IPFW Hosts "Destination Bangladesh"
(Fort Wayne, August 31, 2007) -- The Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Bangladesh Student Association promises a night of food, music, and entertainment with a South Asian flair at the Bangladesh Night 2007 "Destination Bangladesh." The event will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Walb Student Union Ballroom. Admission is $5 for the public and includes dinner. It is free to IPFW students with student IDs.
"Destination Bangladesh" will focus on the nation of Bangladesh and will help build a bridge between the Fort Wayne community and Bangladeshi students. The evening will include a display of Bangladesh culture and heritage, dinner featuring authentic Bengali cuisine, and a cultural show. Those who attend will learn about the history and geography of Bangladesh as well as its culture, language, literature, and even little-known facts.
