IPFW Choral Union and Chamber Singers’ Spring Concert
(Fort Wayne, April 16, 2007) -- Dr. Todd O. Prickett will conduct the Spring Concert for the IPFW Choral Union and the Chamber Singers on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in Neff Recital Hall.
The Choral Union and the Chamber Singers will present Franz Schuberts Mass in G and will be joined by instrumentalists from the Fort Wayne Philharmonic including Hiromi Ito, violin; John Gerson, violin; Derek Reeves, viola; and Deborah Nitka Hicks, cello.
The Chamber Singers will open the concert with "Ave Verum Corpus" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and will perform the contemporary work "Four Whatevers" by Scott Wilkinson in the second half of the program.
To conclude the concert, the Choral Union will perform "In the Still of the Night" and "Night and Day" by Cole Porter, along with "Daisy Bell" by Henry Dacre, "Goodbye, My Lady Love" by Jos E. Edward, and "In the Good Old Summer" by George Evans.
The concert will be Sunday, April 22, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in Neff Recital Hall. Admission for IPFW students with ID is free, $4 Adults, $3 Seniors, and $1 all other students.
