Masquerade Ball to Benefit United Way
(Fort Wayne, Oct. 14, 2005) -- Halloween is coming a little early to downtown Fort Wayne. On Friday, Oct. 21, following the Mastodons on Parade Gala/Auction at the Grand Wayne Center, a Masquerade Ball will be held in the Indiana Hotel Lobby. The Ball, which begins at 9 p.m. and continues until 1 a.m., is sponsored by Century Tel, Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI), IPFW, and the United Way of Allen County. Proceeds from the $10 cover charge will go to the United Way.
The Ball is black-tie optional, however everyone attending is required to wear a mask. If revelers don’t have masks, they will be available at the door. Admission is limited to people age 21 and over.
Activities at the event will include an oxygen bar, catered appetizers and cash bar from Catablu, a Rhunestone reader, psychic predictions by Karen Paoensa, and other unpredictable opportunities.
For more information, call Mark Carboni at 260-471-5050. Reservations may be made by email at masquerade@ylni.org.
