Mastodons on Parade Auctioned Online

(Fort Wayne, Oct. 5, 2005) -- Forty-nine Mastodons on Parade are now up for bids in an online auction conducted by The Steffen Group. People interested in bidding on the mastodons can go to www.mastodons.org and click on the silent auction link to register and make a bid. Bids will be taken until Oct. 20.

For those without a ticket to the Gala and Auction, a special Web address will be available that will allow for live online bids.

The Steffen Group is conducting both the online and live auctions. Brandon Steffen is the president of Steffen Group and will be the auctioneer at the live event. He said, “Our firm is extremely honored to conduct this important event for IPFW, Fort Wayne, and the United Way of Allen County.”

The Gala and Auction is generously supported by Scott’s Food and Pharmacy. All the proceeds from the auction will benefit the United Way of Allen County.
