The IPFW Native American Studies Program mission is to provide:
- Outreach to the Native American community
- An academic and scholarly perspective on Native Americans
- A well-rounded background on Native American life, including current Native American cultures, the historical experience of Native Americans, their prehistoric past, and Native American arts and literature
