Wells, Andree J.

Professor Wells was Assistant Professor of Community Health Nursing from August 1973-June 1977. She received degrees from Brown University (B.S., 1960) and John Hopkins University (M.P.H., 1965). She was instrumental in introducing the concept of baccalaureate-prepared R.N.s to the local community and placed nursing students in out-reach programs throughout the area. Professor Wells was also involved in various research projects in the community including testing for lead levels in preschoolers.
