Kenworthy, O. Franklin

Dr. Kenworthy came to IPFW in 1967 and resigned June 30, 1986 to become dean of the college of arts and letters at Southwestern Missouri State University. He died on April 23, 1988 as a result of a tragic accident. During his years at IPFW he served as acting dean of the school of science and humanities, technical director of PIT, chair of the department of theatre and acting chair of the music department. In 1980 he was named assistant vice chancellor and dean of academic services. He received his degrees from College of Wooster (B.A., 1960), University of Illinois (M.A., 1961) and Michigan State University (Ph.D., 1968).
