Paladino, Frank V.

Dr. Paladino taught biology and chaired the department during his tenure from 1982 until    . Dr. Paladino is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society in London. His areas of research center on sea turtles but also includes crocodiles and other vertebrates. He received degrees from State University of New York College at Plattsburgh (B.A., 1974), State University of New York College at Buffalo (M.A., 1976) and Washington State University (Ph.D., 1979). In March 2000 he was named the Jack W. Schrey Distinguished Professor of Biology. He was a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
