Dr. Leonard came to IPFW in 1966. He received degrees from Purdue University (B.S., 1962; M.S., 1966; Ph.D, 1970). Dr. Leonard was chair of the management and marketing department from . He was appointed to the IPFW faculty in 1970. In 1967-1968 he was Head Coach of Men's Basketball and coached Men's Golf in 1972. Dr. Leonard retired as professor emeritus of management and marketing in 2004.
