Cassandra Wilson, Multimedia Specialist

I am currently a senior here at IPFW where I am majoring in both Photography and Graphic Design. I know my way around a digital camera and have a knack for typography, layout design, and editing photographs. I have experience with the Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Bridge as well as iMovie, iPhoto and the Microsoft Office programs. Not only has Studio M helped me learn new software for my personal work, but has also given me the opportunity to help other students with their multimedia projects.

Ira Saroka, Multimedia Specialist

Ira Saroka

My name is Irina Saroka, but I prefer simply Ira. I am a senior looking to graduate in Fall 2013. I transferred to IPFW two years ago when I moved to Fort Wayne from Minsk, Belarus. With this I changed my field of study from linguistic and translation to video production and photography.

I started working at Studio M this January and see a lot of opportunities to learn and grow here. I work in Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere. But whatever kind of project you have, I ‘ll be happy to help you figure it out.

Sasha Allgayer, Multimedia Specialist

Sasha AllgayerI am currently a graduate student in the Communication Department and media is where my heart lies!  I am the producer of IPFW’s “Arts Weekly” live at PBS, where my duties include all of the pre-production work, such as interviewing guests, writing the scripts, taking photos and videos, and editing those videos into a cohesive unit to be broadcasted on television.

I am also involved with filmmaking, where I have experience in all aspects from foundation to finishing point; writing, directing, producing, editing, and cinematography to just name a few.  As far as software goes, I am extremely familiar with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Photoshop, iMovie, and some web design too.  I’m also learning other software and programs as I go!

Bethany Lowe, Multimedia Specialist

Bethany LoweI am currently enrolled in my senior year in Visual Communication and Design majoring in Graphic Design. I’ve been working in art since I could hold a pencil and love illustration. My dream has always been to tell stories and make people feel things with my art, rather its typography and design or traditional media. I hope to become a part of something greater someday, a team of like-minded individuals where I can grow as an artist and as a person. I’ve been painting in Photoshop, mimicking traditional painting techniques using a Wacom tablet, since I was 15. I am proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, web/graphic design and video editing. Also I am familiar with Apple iLife for web/video/music based projects.

Brian Smith, Multimedia Specialist

Brian Smith

Since 2009, Brian has been pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in the Computer Science (C.S.) program at IPFW. He has been a recipient of the IPFW Chancellor's Scholarship for four consecutive years. Brian enjoys working in Studio M because he gets to help people leverage the power of computers to accomplish their goals, which is something that gives him great satisfaction. His C.S. background allows him to understand a lot of how the software used in Studio M works "under the hood."

Brian has experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Presenter,  Apple Final Cut Pro, Blender, Maya, iWeb, iMovie, iPhoto, Microsoft PowerPoint and he is comfortable with HTML code. He is always looking for ways to make Studio M a more useful resource for students. For example, he created a mini-app which greatly simplifies the process of uploading iWeb websites to IPFW's servers.
