Biography
John Wellington is a professor of management. He previously was the dean of the Richard T. Doermer School of Business and Management Sciences in September 2000 - July 2008. His previous position was Dean of the Graduate School of Administration at Capital University in Columbus Ohio.
He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
He serves locally on the boards of United Way of Allen County, Northeast Indiana Workforce Investment Board, Regional Workforce Board, Anthony Wayne Services, Consumer Credit Council of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne Ballet, and as a member of the lead team for the Strategic Skills Initiative assessing critical issues in workforce planning and development. He served on the boards of the Better Business Bureau and Alumni Leadership Fort Wayne.
John has a passion for connecting learning and education to the practice of business in northeast Indiana.
John is a hiker, backpacker and runner.
