Overcoming Math Anxiety by John LaMaster

A little over 50 minutes in length, this video was a presentation given by John LaMaster to IPFW students in 1993 sponsored by the Department of Mathematical Sciences and the  Center for Women and Returning Adults.
Topics include:

  • common myths about math anxiety
  • strategies to reduce anxiety before you take your next math class
  • strategies to reduce anxiety while you are taking a math class
  • dealing with test anxiety
  • tips for taking a math test
  • resources on campus to help you reduce math anxiety.
