For Math 164 students: The following applet will show how a sequence of complex numbers resulted from a function under iteration behaves. It is called the Mandelbrot set. Details will be discussed in the class. Some tips on how to play the Java program. "Click and then drag " will result in zooming the set. "Click and then hold" will give you coordinates of the point. It allows you to save the pictures you zoomed in and reply them again.
