For Math 164 students: The following applet will show how a sequence of complex numbers resulted from a function under iteration behaves. It is called the Mandelbrot set. Details will be discussed in the class. Some tips on how to play the Java program. "Click and then drag " will result in zooming the set. "Click and then hold" will give you coordinates of the point.
