The web site is devoted to develop a web-enabled system for distance learning for mathematics on the Internet . The system is based on Java2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and the three-tier architecture. The developer is Dr. Yifei Pan, professor of Department of Mathematical Sciences at IPFW, and Sun Certified Programmer for Java2 Platform. Objectives of the system 1) Applets are developed to demonstrate mathematical concept, theorems graphically and numerically. 2) Servlets are used to perform numerical computation of mathematical algorithms, and methods including Newton's and integral numerical computation.
