HOMEWORK:          There will be homework assigned daily. You should find that you need three or more hours a day outside of class.

 

EXAMS:                     There will be five one-hour exams and a comprehensive final.

 

ATTENDANCE:        Attendance is not recorded, but it is to your advantage to be in class.

 

                                                                                The minimum grading scale will be:

GRADING:                Homework        15%                  A: 90% or above

                                   Exam                 65%                  B: 80% or above

                                   Final                  20%                  C: 70% or above

                                                                                     D: 60% or above

 

COOPERATION:      Students are encouraged to study together, but of course cheating on exams will not be tolerated and anyone involved will get a 0 on the exam or F in the course.
