Thirty-nine teams from 19 colleges and universities across Indiana
recently competed against each other in the Indiana College Mathematics
Contest at Butler University. The IPFW team, made up of seniors Kevin
Chlebik and Christian MacLeod, and sophomore Jeff Wilkins, walked
away with top honors.
Each team worked for two hours on six math problems. Out of a possible 60
points, IPFW's team scored 52, which was five more than any other team.
The next three finishers were IUPUI, Wabash College, and Purdue-West
Lafayette. The team was coached to victory by math professor Doug Weakley.
