Advisors

Rhonda Meriwether

Rhonda Meriwether is the Associate Director of the Mastodon Advising Center. Rhonda earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Masters’ Degree in Psychology from Tennessee State University. She has worked at IPFW since 1991 and loves working to help encourage and empower students to succeed in college.

 

 

Mary Lehto
Mary Lehto is the Assistant Director of the Mastodon Advising Center. Mary earned a Bachelor's Degree in elementary Education in 1988 and a Masters' Degree in Secondary Education in 1999. She has been with IPFW since 1989 and has been an advisor in MAC since 1996.

 

 

 

Bob Brewer
Bob Brewer returned to college later in life after spending 20 years in the business world. Bob moved to Fort Wayne from Malta, Illinois (small town 90 miles from Chicago) in 1997 when his wife accepted a faculty position at IPFW. He has worked at IPFW since 2000 and has been an academic advisor since 2002. Bob is a proud graduate of IPFW.

 

 

Alison Hoff
Alison Hoff is an academic advisor and the National Student Exchange Coordinator at IPFW. She has been with IPFW since 2001 and is a native of nearby Auburn, Indiana. With degrees from Indiana University-Bloomington (B.S. in Secondary English education) and Ball State University (M.A. in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education), she came to IPFW from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was an Academic Advisor and the Coordinator of Orientation and New Student Programs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Currently, Ms. Hoff teaches IDIS 110, "Freshman Success" each fall semester and advises over 700 undecided and exploratory students.

 

Corrie Wright
Corrie Wright graduated from Ball State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Sociology and in 2006 with a M.A. in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education. Corrie has worked in Admissions and Orientation offices at other universities, and now she is very happy to be a part of this amazing Advising staff!

 

 

 

Frye
Marietta Wolczacka Frye came to IPFW as an international student in 2002. Marietta's undergraduate and graduate degrees are both in English with the language and linguistics concentration. She has worked at various departments at the university, including the Center for Academic Support and Advancement, International Student Services, and English and Linguistics. Marietta recently joined the Mastodon Advising Center and is very excited to be a part of this wonderful team!
