ITS 481-6969 is responsible for providing service and training for all classrooms with installed technology. There are currently 59 general classrooms outfitted with teaching workstations and video projection. (View this PDF for a list of installed classrooms.) Of these installed classrooms, 21 are outfitted with Crestron control panels. Documentation for these classrooms can be found here. Documentation for the other 38 classrooms can be found here.

LRC 481-6519 is responsible for scheduling and delivering audio-visual and computer equipment to general classrooms in which there is no installed technology, to conference rooms scheduled by Walb Memorial Union, and to other meeting rooms on campus.

Audio-visual equipment such as TVs, VCRs, DVD players, and speakers, and mobile computers with projectors services can be scheduled by email at: lrcscheduling@ipfw.edu, or by calling 481-6519, by fax at 481-6517, or in person at the LRC Office in Helmke B37. Still cameras, slide projectors, and 16 mm projectors are not available.

Requests should be made at least TWO WORKING DAYS before equipment is needed. Due to the volume of requests and staff limitations, same-day requests can no longer be accepted.

Most general classrooms are connected to the Internet through the campus Local Area Network (LAN).

No charges are assessed for the use of equipment, labor, and normal materials provided to regularly scheduled classes taught on the IPFW campus. External users will be charged the prevailing commercial rate for rental of such equipment, and labor, including overtime, for operators of equipment.

NOTE: Laptop computers may be booked through ITS, by contacting the Classroom Technologies Help number, 481-6969.
