As of January 2007, ITS will maintain and repair VHS players, television monitors, DVD players, video projectors, video cameras, tripods, speakers, and microphones when these items are used in the classroom for regularly scheduled courses or in departmental teaching/learning labs. LRC will continue to provide consultation and advice to faculty and staff concerning equipment selection, facilities planning and design, installation and utilization. Demonstration and instruction in the operation of equipment can also be provided.

This support service is also provided to departments that purchase equipment items recommended by LRC. No charges are assessed for normal maintenance services. Starting with January 2007, all repairs will be vendor supplied and paid for by the requesting department. (This is a change from previous years.)
