Study Abroad

Indiana University and Purdue University have made available to all IPFW students a wide variety of study abroad opportunities. These programs can last as little as a summer or as much as an entire academic year, and are featured in countries all around the world.

Certain programs are intended for certain majors, such as business, public affairs, and engineering - but there are also programs available to students of all majors and concentrations. Prior knowledge of a foreign language may be required for certain programs, although this is not the case for all study abroad programs. Housing opportunities are also program-dependent.

Credits earned while studying abroad are not counted as transfer credits, but insted are accredited by Indiana University or Purdue University. Financial aid and scholarship opportunities may be available to qualifying students.

If interested, inquire about study abroad with the Office of International Programs.
