On-campus Housing

The IPFW Student Housing on the Waterfield Campus is more than just a place to live. Combining extensive amenities with a beautiful setting on the IPFW campus, it is a student community like no other. Located on the IPFW campus, the community offers the independence of apartment living, high-quality accommodations, and convenient access to all the benefits that IPFW has to offer.

IPFW Student Housing offers four apartment options:

  • 4 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms
  • 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom
  • 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms
  • 1 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom

Students can live in IPFW Student Housing during the traditional academic year (fall and spring semester) or for a full year (fall, spring, and summer semesters). The cost is determined by the type of apartment and length of stay you choose.

Living in IPFW Student Housing provides many conveniences that staying in an off-campus location may not provide. A short 5-minute walk to class, the opportunity to meet and develop friendships with other IPFW students outside of the classroom, and many activities and programs are just the start. Student Housing also offers TV and study lounges in every building; a ping pong lounge; a billiards and cards lounge; three computer labs (two labs are open 24 hours); and an energetic, creative, and friendly staff.

Students planning to enter IPFW Student Housing are encouraged to apply for a space as early as possible. Students who want to live in Student Housing during the fall semester would find it helpful to apply before March 1 of the prior year to avoid the leasing rush. Students wanting to live in Student Housing during the spring semester are recommended to apply by October 1.

To apply, obtain a housing application at the IPFW Student Housing Web site. With the application, you must include a $150 refundable security deposit and $20 non-refundable application fee. You may pay the fee using your credit card.

Off-campus Housing

Due to the limited number of rooms available on campus, all students are urged to apply to Student Housing as soon as possible to reserve rooms before they are filled. Private housing off campus and within 10 minutes walking distance is available with a reasonable cost to IPFW students. Please contact International Student Services (ISS) office to ask about off-campus options.
