i-20 Info

Once you are accepted to IPFW, we will send you Form I-20, which you will need to obtain an F-1 student visa. You will need to show sufficient financial resources (family, scholarships, etc.) to fund your tuition and living expenses.

The completed I-20 form will include the information the U.S. government needs about your stay as a student within the United States, including:

  • Level of study
  • Field or Area of Study
  • Beginning and Completion Dates
  • Financial Information

You will also be issued an I-20 ID with your I-20 form, which will serve as an official form of identification. You must ensure that you keep this I-20 ID on your person at all times while in the United States.
