Admission Requirements

All undergraduate students are required to submit the following items when applying to IPFW:

  • Completed application form
  • Proof of financial support
  • Proof of English proficiency*
  • Originals or certified copies of all secondary and post-secondary transcripts or exam scores and degree certificates (including certified English translation, if appropriate)
  • $30 non-refundable application fee
  • Biographical statement of about 300 words
  • Additional requirements for prospective athletes
  • SEVIS Information Form

*TOEFL minimum score of 213 (computer-based), 79 (internet-based), 550 (paper-based), or successful completion of a college-level English composition course at an accredited US institution.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of $30.00 (U.S.) is required from all applying students. Payment may be made by money order, by check drawn drom a U.S. bank, or by charge to Visa, MasterCard, or Discover Card. Do not send checks from foreign banks. If you use the charge card method, you must fill out the IPFW pre-authorization charge form.

Proof of Financial Support

For example, an official letter or statement of account(s) from a bank indicating the availability of sufficient funds to pay your tuition and living expenses. If you receive financial support from an individual for your education, the individual must provide a financial statement showing adequate funds. If you will be funded by a corporate or government sponsor, the sponsor must supply a letter of financial support. Your educational and living expenses of approximately $29,736.00 (U.S.) per year are outlined under Estimated Costs.
