Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Spanish
Spanish is the language of nearly 300 million of the world's people, including many millions in the United States. It is the official language of Spain as well as most of the countries of the Western Hemisphere. Increasingly, Spanish is a language of commercial, cultural, and political importance in the world.
The Department of International Language and Culture Studies offers a full curriculum in the culture, language and literature of Latin America and Spain. A major in Spanish may be combined with a major in another field, a business minor, or a teaching certificate.
