HIV Counseling and Testing
The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is the virus that causes AIDS. People infected with HIV may have no symptoms, but will still be able to pass the virus on to others. Over time, HIV damages the body's immune system and the person will eventually become ill with AIDS. HIV testing is done at the clinic using a mouth swab and the results will be given to you before you leave the clinic.
