Richard Weiner (Latin America) is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Irvine in 1999. He is the author of Race, Nation and Market: Economic Culture in Porfirian Mexico (2004) and (with Raul A. Galoppe, eds.) Explorations in Subjectivity, Borders, and Demarcation (2005).
