David G. Schuster (19th & Early 20th Century Culture, Medicine & Society) received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006. His dissertation is titled "Neurasthenic Nation: The Medicalization of Modernity in the United States, 1869-1930."
