  • February 10: Let's Talk about Sex, Baby. 11:0 AM - 2:00 PM. Kettler Hall. Learn more about sexually transmitted diseases and healthy sex decisions.
  • February 11: Cholesterol and Blood Health Screenings. 7-10 AM, WU G08. Free for employees, retirees and their spouses. Free for 150 IPFW students. Other tests available include: PSA, TSH, Chem 17, A1C and blood type.

  • February 19: Quick Check. 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Classroom Medical. Quick Checks are monthly wellness checkups. IPFW Health & Wellness will be in a different building each month fielding wellness related questions and providing blood pressure, blood sugar, body circumference, weight, body composition and more!

  • March 2: Your Body. Your Life. And How to Love it. 7:00-8:30 PM, Parkview Corporate Office Auditorium, 10501 Corporate Dr. Fort Wayne, IN 46845. Society’s standards for the ideal body can often leave us dissatisfied withourselves! Join us for an evening of understanding cultural influences on body image and self worth. Come learn ways to bolster self image and confidence no matter your age.
  • March 3: Weight Watchers Spring Session Open House. 12:00 - 1:00 PM, KT 146.
  • March 7-14: IPFW Spring Break
  • March 10: Wellness Council of Indiana morning conference. 7:00 - 10:00 AM, Walb Union
  • March 11: "Go Green" 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Purdue Cooperative Extension Office (at IPFW).
  • March 15: Free Fitness Screenings. 4:45-6:45 PM, Hilliard Gates Sports Center, Royal Dons Room. Screenings include blood pressure, height, weight, body composition, BMI, and blood sugar (2-hour fast).
  • March 16: Quick Check. 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Williams Theatre/Visual & Performing Arts. Quick Checks are monthly wellness checkups. IPFW Health & Wellness will be in a different building each month fielding wellness related questions and providing blood pressure, blood sugar, body circumference, weight, body composition and more!
  • March 17: Weight Watchers at IPFW. 12:00 - 1:00 PM. KT 146. NEW SPRING SESSION BEGINS. Registration taken today. $144 for 12-week session. Employees/retirees and their spouses/partners can earn 50% reimbursement for completing 11 of 12 weeks of the program.
  • March 24: 21st Annual IPFW Health Fair. "Fit" Within Your Budget.

 

Ongoing:

  • Drop in to a fitness class anytime at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center! Drop-in fee is only $5. Check in at the customer service desk located at the entrance to the fitness center.
