IPFW Health and Wellness offers a variety of programs and services to assist individuals and families with better total wellness. Physical, emotional, social, spiritual, occupational, and intellectual parts of wellness are all addressed throughout the calendar year.

  • October 21-TIAA CREF Financial University-Learn more about open enrollment choices, what is happening with your retirement savings in the shakey economy and answer any of your questions. Times and locations TBA.

  • October 27-Fall Fitness Classes begin! 8 Week group exercises classes. Many to choose from! Great rates! Check it out!
  • October 29- Weight Watchers at IPFW Open House-Kettler Hall 118, 12-1 pm. Come see what WW at IPFW is all about. Pre-registration for Winter session will be taken. Winter Session: November 5-February 4 (no meetings December 24, 31). IPFW employees and spouses can receive a 50% discount if they attend 11 of 12 weekly sessions.
  • October 29-The AB solution workshop. 6:00-7:30 pm, Hilliard Gates Sports Center. $18.00

  • November 13- Fun Party Prep for a Healthy Holiday! Cooking Demonstration. Walb Union 222/224, 12-1 pm. FREE!
  • November 20-Great American Smoke Out.

  • Looking for a workout buddy? Let Gates Sports Center help! Fill out the Buddy Up for Fitness form and we will pair you with a workout buddy who best matches your request.
  • Drop in to a fitness class anytime at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center! Drop-in fee is only $5. Check in at the customer service desk located at the entrance to the fitness center.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events have no registration fee and no fundraising minimum. These noncompetitive walks range in distance from three to five miles, and men, women, and children of all ages are encouraged to participate.
