Northeast Indiana Engineers Week Academic Achievement Award
Deadline has past, but please keep in mind for next year!
Criteria
- Must have graduated from a high school located in the Indiana counties of Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, or Whitley: or live in one of the listed counties for a minimum of one year.
- Must be enrolled in a curriculum leading to a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Must have earned a minimum of 30 semester credit hours (45 quarter credit hours) to a maximum of 96 semester credit hours (144 quarter credit hours) applicable toward an Engineering or an Engineering Technology degree by the start of the most recent fall term.
- Must be a full time student carrying 12 or more semester credit hours.
- Students are eligible to receive this award a maximum of two times (one per year).
- Applications must be signed by a faculty member where indicated on page 2 to be eligible for consideration (E-filed applicants must include a signed scanned copy or have their faculty advisor E-mail their recommendation to the application address).
- Please be clear and accurate with your E-mail address and telephone number on hand written documents.
All notifications for the winners will be sent via E-mail.
Applications must be postmarked no later than January 31.
Please mail (and/or E-mail) the following:
- Completed application form
- Official transcript(s) from all college(s) attended (must be mailed via US Mail)
- Head shot photo with plain background. Wallet size (2-1/4" X 3-1/8") color passport or drivers license style photograph of you, and only you. Please do not include other persons or objects in the photos. E-mailed photos should not exceed 2mb.
- Introductory cover letter explaining who you are and why you’d be a good award candidate.
You may E-file your information with the exception of your official transcript(s).
If you choose to E-file the information, please include a digital head shot photo with a plain background no larger than 2mb file size.
