IPFW
offers its faculty two main ways to develop online course
material: VISTA and websites. Below is material to aid you
in developing your composition course with either of these
methods.
VISTA Development
The
main VISTA page is located on the my.ipfw.edu page. This
site has general information about how to develop a VISTA
site. The Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching
(CELT)
offers workshops in VISTA. Additionally, Worth Weller has developed
a user-friendly ENG W131 VISTA template.
If you have questions about developing
a VISTA site, contact the
CELT
office at
481-6354.
Website Development
Information
Technology Services (ITS)
offers all faculty personal webspace. ITS offers details regarding
how to set up your own web space and how to design your own
website.
In
Fall 2003, Ernie Rufleth and Jenn Stewart presented a PEER
session detailing what should be considered when developing
your class website. Listed below is the handout highlighting
that PEER. If you have any questions about the handout, contact Jenn
Stewart.
