Education

Dr. Stumph received her Ph.D. in Economics from Lehigh University in 1999.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Stumph's teaching interests includes international economics and game theory.

Research Interests

Dr. Stumph's current research is in the areas of regional macroeconomic development, macroeconomic policy issues and utility theory. Dr. Stumph recently received a grant from Northrop Corporation to support her work, and the work of several of her students, in ongoing research in the area of international economics.

Highlights of Community Service

Dr. Stumph is a member of the Academy of Business Economics and Omicron Delta Epsilon (international honor society) and has presented at many meetings including the Academy of Business Economics meeting in March 2005.  Dr. Stumph is also the Program Chairperson/President-elect for the Academy of Business Economics, 2005 to 2006. 

Dr. Stumph joined the Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne faculty in 2003 after serving two years at Illinois Wesleyan University.

Dr. Stumph is a co-faculty advisor for Omicron Delta Epsilon. She has accompanied two student groups to Mexico in the last two years.  She also takes an active role in the curriculum both through committee work and new course development.  Dr. Stumph is very active with the advising of students and support of student activities (both graduate and undergraduate) in the School of Business.
