Testing Services

Are you taking a distance class that requires proctored testing? It's easy to use Testing Services.

Step 1

Call Testing Services at 260- 481-6600 to schedule when you are ready to schedule your test; you must do so in advance.The instructor will notify students at the beginning of the semester when the beginning and ending dates for each examination are, and the instructor will approve any extensions or exceptions to these dates. Have an extension, or exception? The instructor will notify Testing Services of this special circumstance; however, you must still call and schedule your testing appointment.

Testing appointments are on a first come, first served basis, so to receive the day and time that works the best in your schedule, please call well in advance of the beginning and ending date for each exam. Childcare arrangements must be made prior to the day and time of your exam. Children are not allowed in the testing rooms or the testing lab. Examinations are given during the following days and times in Kettler Hall, Rm. 232.

  • Mondays-Thursdays, 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
  • Fridays, 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.

Please arrive 15 min. early for your testing appointment. Students arriving late will be asked to reschedule their appointment.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, please listen to area radio and television stations to make sure that IPFW offices are open.

Step 2

Bring several pencils, pens, any other materials (i.e., calculator, ruler, notes, textbooks) your instructor has said you may use during the examination. You are responsible to bring the necessary materials that you will need for your examination. Testing Services will proctor the exam according to your instructor's directions only.

Step 3

Turn in any homework assignments, study guides, or other correspondence directly to the instructor, the instructor's department, or Continuing Studies. Testing Services will be happy to refer you to the appropriate building and/or department.
